Manager Mike Scioscia hinted that outfielder Mike Trout could begin the 2012 season in Triple-A. Unless Vernon Wells opts out of his contract, which is highly unlikely, the Angels' outfield will be full again next season. So the Angels may save themselves some money in the long run and let Trout marinate a bit more in the minor leagues. The 20-year-old has a weak .204 batting average in 113 at-bats this season, but he's flashed some power and boasts immense long-term potential.
