Manager John Gibbons said Tuesday that Benoit (calf) will not be available for the Blue Jays' ALCS matchup with the Indians, Sportsnet's Shi Davidi reports.

Benoit is still working his way back from the calf injury he suffered in late September, and Gibbons' statement indicates Benoit will not be part of the Blue Jays' ALCS roster. He has not been ruled out for the season, however, so he could have a chance to pitch in the World Series if the Blue Jays advance.
