Manager Dan Jennings stated that Gordon (thumb) has no fractures and the team believes he avoided any ligament damage as well, Joe Frisaro of MLB.com reports. Gordon appears to have avoided any broken bones in his dislocated thumb, but the team is yet to officially confirm whether there is any ligament damage. There has been no announcement of a DL stint to this point, but Frisaro reported that Martin Prado (shoulder) could fill in at second base should Gordon be sidelined for a significant amount of time.
