Manaea had a strong return from the DL Thursday, shutting out the Giants over 5.2 innings while striking out four.

EDGE Analysis

This was Manaea's first start since June 13th after hitting the DL with a muscle strain in his forearm. He has shown some nice flashes during this rookie season, but Wednesday was one of his better complete starts as he avoided the big inning which has been plaguing him so far. Manaea is next scheduled to take the hill Tuesday in Minnesota.
