Manaea earned his fourth win of the year Friday against Seattle, allowing three runs over six innings while striking out four.
EDGE Analysis
Manaea had a no-hitter through the first four innings, but a solo homer by Kyle Seager leading off the fifth ended that. Manaea stumbled a bit in the sixth allowing two runs, but turned in a very strong outing overall, giving up only three hits over his six innings. After a rough start to his rookie year that saw his ERA over six after his first nine starts, Manaea has allowed three runs or fewer in six of his last seven starts to lower his ERA to 4.57. Manaea will next take the hill Wednesday at the Rangers.
