Manaea (arm) threw 39 pitches off the mound Tuesday, and will see time Friday with High-A Stockton during a rehab outing, John Shea of the San Francisco Chronicle reports.

Manaea was placed on the 15-day DL on June 14 after leaving a start the night before due to a pronator muscle strain in his left forearm. He seems to have progressed well over the last week and should be able to return to the team once he can be activated off the disabled list June 29. Manaea is 2-4 this season with a 6.02 ERA during 49.1 innings with the A's.
