Manaea (3-7) allowed two runs on six hits and two walks while striking out four over six innings to take the loss Sunday against the Cubs.
EDGE Analysis
Despite pitching well, Manaea didn't receive any run support, leading to his seventh loss of the campaign. He's started to turn things around by firing quality starts in three of his last four outings to lower his ERA to 4.58. The rookie is gaining valuable experience, and with a strong finish to the season, he could be a player to watch in 2017. He'll make his next start Friday against the Mariners.
