Making his spring debut, Jake Peavy pitched three-plus innings and allowed one run Thursday in the Red Sox's 4-3 win over the Twins. Peavy missed time with a laceration on his left index finger, but he still has time to get ready for the first week of the season. He was throwing in the low-90s today, so arm strength doesn't look like a concern.
