Making his season debut Tuesday, Gavin Floyd allowed one run on six hits over seven innings but settled for a no-decision against the Cardinals. In his first start since April 27 of last year, Floyd showed no ill effects of the Tommy John surgery he underwent last May. The right-hander walked two while striking out five in the outing. The stagnant Braves offense couldn't get Floyd his first win of the year as well, but it was still a very positive showing for the 31-year-old. His next start will come Monday at the Giants.
