Making his first start since May 28, Jered Weaver (back) held the Giants to two hits in six scoreless innings of Wednesday's 6-0 win. He struck out three and walked two. Weaver threw just 78 pitches, and would have obviously gone much deeper had he not been on a pitch count. The ace of one of the American League's best staffs, Weaver should be all systems go from here on out. Through 75 innings, he's posted a 2.40 ERA, 0.91 WHIP and 60/17 K/BB ratio. He'll get the Orioles in Baltimore next week.
