Making his first start since August 26, Gavin Floyd allowed three runs on four hits in 4 2/3 innings of Chicago's loss to the Tigers. Floyd struck out seven and walked one in falling to 9-10 on the season. Now the owner of a 4.59 ERA, 1.42 WHIP and 121/54 K/BB ratio through 143 innings, Floyd will get the Royals in Kansas City next week.
