Making his first start in 13 days, Felix Doubront pitched around six walks to allow two runs in five innings Thursday against the Rays. Doubront struck out seven and allowed three hits. The Red Sox's concern with Doubront is the way his velocity has dropped while working from the stretch. That was still a problem tonight, but he was effective anyway. He should remain in the rotation next week.
