Making his exhibition debut for the Padres, Carlos Quentin went 2-for-2 with a double and walk in Monday's loss to the Mariners. So far, so good for one of the Padres' big offseason acquisitions, who hit .328 /.358/.625 for the White Sox last spring. He went on to post a .254/.340/.499 regular season triple slash.
