Maholm (knee) signed a minor league contract with the Reds on Sunday that includes an invite to spring training. Maholm is rehabbing his way back from ACL surgery in August. The veteran pitched in 30 games with the Dodgers last season, mixing in eight starts and finishing with a 4.84 ERA and 1.56 WHIP over 70.2 innings. If Maholm were to make the roster, it would likely be in a bullpen role rather than in the starting rotation.
