Machado will make his first MLB start at the shortstop position Monday, MASN Sports reports.

The Orioles have recently been going with Paul Janish while J.J. Hardy is on the DL. Ryan Flaherty, who has made nine errorless starts at shortstop this season, will start at third base. Leagues with one game of eligibility will gain some flexibility with Machado, but with Hardy due back this weekend it is unlikely Machado will gain shortstop eligibility in most leagues.
