Machado, who was placed on the 15-day DL prior to Wednesday's game, was moving around without crutches and said his knee was feeling much better, Roch Kubatko of MASN Sports reports. Machado's placement on the disabled list will keep him out until at least Aug. 27, but the Orioles are probably more thankful that the right knee injury doesn't seem to be nearly as severe as last season's left knee ligament tear. The third baseman didn't seem confident that he'd be back in the 15-day minimum, however, so owners in single-season leagues may want to consider looking elsewhere for corner infield help to cover for an absence that could still be rather lengthy.
