Machado went 3-for-3 with a double and a stolen base in Tuesday's spring training game against the Yankees. Machado has played in five games in eight days and manager Buck Showalter has repeated that the knee injury he suffered last August is not an issue. It sure did not hold Machado back in Tuesday's game, as he would not be stealing bases without being able to run at full speed. Machado stole just two bases in 2014 and speed probably will not be a major part of his game this season. Machado will continue to see steady at-bats this spring as he looks to return to his 2013 form in which he had 68 extra-base hits.
