Machado (knee) will be transferred to the 60-day disabled list Tuesday, Rich Dubroff of CSN Philadelphia reports. After undergoing knee surgery last Wednesday, Machado's season was officially over, but the move opens up a roster spot for the addition of outfielder Quintin Barry to the Orioles' corps of reserves. Machado's timetable for a complete recovery remains 4-to-6 months.
