Luke Scott (shoulder) is scheduled to take live batting practice Thursday. It could be the last step before Scott is cleared to play in live games. The 33-year-old is being brought along slowly this spring after undergoing surgery last July to repair a torn labrum in his right shoulder, but he should be ready for Opening Day.
