Luke Scott (calf) is hoping to run the bases Friday. Scott has done some running in the outfield, but it would be the first time he's run the bases. The 34-year-old designated hitter is hoping to begin a rehab assignment within the next week and should be ready to return before the end of the month, assuming he avoids setbacks.
