Luke Scott (calf) felt "very encouraged" after the running the bases Friday. Scott should soon get clearance to go out on a minor league rehab assignment. The 34-year-old began the season on the DL with a right calf strain, but he could be ready to join the Rays' lineup around the end of the month.
