Luke Gregerson (oblique) allowed three runs on three hits and two walks in just 2-3 of an inning Friday in a rehab appearance for Triple-A Tucson. Despite the poor results, Padres manager Bud Black is encouraged. "Luke said he felt good and didn't feel the oblique muscle, that's the big thing," said Black. "While you hate to see a guy give up runs, it got him some work. From a rehab standpoint, that's better than having get out of the inning on five pitches." Gregerson will make another appearance for Tucson Sunday before rejoining the Padres Monday for their series against the Giants.
