Luis Mendoza was extremely impressive in a victory over the Twins on Friday, allowing just one run on five hits in eight innings of work. Mendoza fanned five and didn't walk a batter in the game. He was a very popular sleeper in the preseason before falling on his face in his first attempt in the Royals rotation. The talent is surely there however, and he'll have plenty of mixed league value with his strikeout totals. He'll look to carry over the momentum from this strong performance when he squares off against the Blue Jays in Toronto on Tuesday.
