Luis Mendoza delivered a strong outing in a no-decision against the Angels on Friday, allowing just one run on seven hits over his five frames. Mendoza struggled with his command a bit, issuing four free passes while striking out two on the night. The only run against him came when Mike Trout scampered home on a wild pitch in the third inning. After a very rough start to the season, Mendoza has posted a 3.52 ERA over his last four outings. He'll look to get back in the win column when he squares off against the Cardinals in St. Louis on Wednesday.
