Luis Mendoza continued Kansas City's run of lousy pitching in Sunday's blowout loss to the Indians, allowing nine runs (five earned) on nine hits, four walks and two home runs in just four innings of work. If Mendoza was looking to ensure the Royals began counting down the days until Felipe Paulino can come off the disabled list, he accomplished it. The 28-year-old journeyman is off the radar in AL-only leagues.
