Loup is likely to slot into the setup man role with Brett Cecil named as the closer and Aaron Sanchez likely to move into the starting rotation. Loup is having a pretty solid spring, giving up two earned runs across five innings. He had a strong year last season, pitching 68.2 innings with a 3.15 ERA, a 1.17 WHIP while striking out 56. With low strikeout totals, Loup's fantasy value is tied to whether or not he gets a chance to close, which as of the start of the season doesn't look like it will happen. In deeper leagues, he may be worth stashing in case Cecil runs into trouble as a closer.
