Loup gave up three hits, two earned runs and recorded two strikeouts in 0.2 innings of work in Tuesday's 11-8 victory over the Red Sox. Loup was pitching for the third day in a row and got touched up as a result of it, giving up an eighth inning home run to Hanley Ramirez. He's proven to be one of the more reliable options out of the Jays' pen, but Tuesday's outing raised his ERA back up to 5.40. He has been striking more batters of out, punching out five in his last three innings after recording only four in his first seven innings of 2015. Loup probably won't figure in to the closer discussion and his inconsistent strikeout totals give him limited fantasy value.
