Lough will open his season on the disabled list due to a hamstring injury, MASN's Roch Kubatko reports. Lough has been dealing with back and hamstring injuries, but he said Tuesday that his back is no longer an issue. The same apparently can't be said for his hammy, so he'll need a DL stint to start the season. Travis Snider, Steve Pearce, Delmon Young and Jimmy Paredes are all candidates to pick up a few extra at-bats in Lough's absence.
