Ramirez recently returned from a three-week stay on the injured list due to a positive coronavirus test. The drop in velocity presented itself the deeper he got into an outing. The first time happened in Denver on Saturday, the second of back-to-back days. It happened again Monday when he issued three walks. Diamondbacks manager Torey Lovullo didn't view this as related to the illness, but rather he believes it's a mechanical issue.
