Los Angeles Angels outfielder Mike Trout will return to the lineup Thursday against the Houston Astros after missing the last two games with a wrist injury, according to MLB.com. A collision with shortstop Erick Aybar on Sunday against the Texas Rangers resulted in a strain, but Trout was not expected to miss extended time, as he was able to pinch-run and remain in the game as a defensive replacement Wednesday. "He's moving in the right direction, but we're definitely going to err on the side of caution," Angels manager Mike Scioscia said. "It's the type of injury where you'd rather give it a couple more days on this end and not risk a couple of weeks on the back end. When he's ready, he'll be out there." Trout has tallied a .315/.405/.632 batting line with 31 home runs, 10 stolen bases and 64 RBI in 97 games this season.
