Lopez (biceps) made his spring training debut Tuesday, recording two outs while walking one and allowing one hit against the Padres. Lopez has been dealing with biceps tendinitis this spring, but he made his debut and felt fine after the outing. At the age of 37, the Giants will probably focus on getting him rest during spring training. Lopez will resume his role as a left-handed specialist once the season gets under way.
