Lombardozzi was optioned to Triple-A Indianapolis on Saturday. Lombardozzi had been used sparingly in the week and a half since his callup (four at-bats), and was an obvious candidate to head down with the Pirates needing bullpen help after using seven relievers Friday. Right-hander Wilfredo Boscan was brought up in a corresponding move.
