After San Francisco scraped together a go-ahead run in the bottom of the eighth inning, McGee made the lead stick while throwing only nine pitches to earn the save. The 34-year-old hasn't allowed an earned run in his last 18.2 innings dating back to June 4 -- he's given up just two unearned runs on eight hits and two walks in that span. He's posted an excellent 2.40 ERA, 0.82 WHIP and 45:7 K:BB with 21 saves in 23 chances and seven holds this season.
