Logan Morrison (hamstring) is expected to begin a rehab assignment this week. LoMo has been taking batting practice and running the bases in recent days and on Saturday participated in a simulated game. He seems likely to be activated from the disabled list before the end of the month. "I think he's close," Mariners manager Lloyd McClendon said. "He's swinging the bat pretty decent. He doesn't seem to be restricted on the basepaths. He's moving as slow as ever."
