Seattle Mariners rookie starting pitcher Logan Gilbert struck out a career-high eight hitters and went a career-high seven innings to help beat the New York Yankees on Thursday. The 24-year-old blossoming ace has a 2.57 ERA in eight starts since May 25, and the Mariners have won each of those eight starts.
