Locke limited the White Sox to two earned runs on three hits and two walks in six innings Wednesday. He struck out a season-high eight batters. He's pitched with greater confidence in his last three starts and he's given up just two runs in his last 12 innings. Locke's fastball hit 95 mph Wednesday, but it's not known whether the radar gun was a little hot. Either way, his stuff played well and he's now strung together strong back-to-back starts. Locke's spot in the rotation was in jeopardy at the beginning of June, but it's safe now.
