Lind went 1-for-4 with a game-changing three-run homer, his third of the season, in Thursday's win against the Orioles.
EDGE Analysis
Orioles' starter Tyler Wilson threw a pretty decent pitch, but Lind put a great swing on the ball, going the other way for the opposite-field home run, to put the game out of reach and lead the Mariners to victory. In his first season with the Mariners, the first baseman has struggled greatly in the early goings. Lind is posting career-worst peripherals across the board, and most worrisome would have to be the incredible power outage that he has fallen victim to. Maybe Thursday's homer is what he needs to get moving in the right direction.
