Lin was recalled from Triple-A Pawtucket on Saturday.

With rosters expanding, Lin will join the Red Sox for the stretch run to provide infield depth. The 24-year-old posted a solid .307/.362/.448 line with the PawSox this season, though he's struggled to a .182/.265/.227 line in 20 games with the big club.
