Lewis has officially been ruled out for the rest of the 2016 season, and this unfortunate injury could affect his availability for the start of next season. Even though this will delay his development, Lewis is still a very appealing play for the future. The rookie was hitting .299 (35-for-117) with three home runs, 26 RBI and a .915 OPS during 30 games with short-season Everett in his brief time with the club.
