Locastro (knee) was non-tendered by the Red Sox on Tuesday, Mark Feinsand of MLB.com reports.

Locastro was claimed off waivers by Boston in early November, but the team opted not to tender him a contract for 2022. He appeared in 64 games last season between the Diamondbacks and Yankees and hit .180/.263/.252 in 156 plate appearances. He suffered a torn ACL in July but may be ready in time for Opening Day.
