Pillar was removed from Monday's game against the Braves after being struck by a pitch in the face, Tim Healey of Newsday reports.
EDGE Analysis
Pillar understandably went down in a heap and was bleeding from his nose, but he was able to walk off the field under his own power. The extent of the injury is unknown at this time.

Somethings gotta change. Hit by pitches are up each of the last 4 years at historic rates, its ridiculous.
