Leake tossed eight shutout innings, allowing three hits and one walk while striking out 10 in the Reds' 1-0 win over Miami on Friday night. Leake (6-5, 4.08) was absolutely masterful as he hurled 102 pitches (68 for strikes), and nursed a 1-0 lead through eight innings. When he is commanding the zone, as he has lately, he can be extremely effective. He'll carry this performance into the break, and try to build on it in the second half.
