Leake (5-4) pitched very well on Wednesday, as he gave up just two runs in seven innings of work to earn the win. Leake allowed eight hits and struck out five without walking a batter. Leake was very impressive on Wednesday, leading his team to a win at Pittsburgh against their ace Gerrit Cole. Leake tossed 105 pitches and 75 of them were strikes as he displayed great command all night. Leake has now won two straight starts and brought his ERA down to 3.91. He isn't a great option in mixed leagues, but he can be of some value when he receives solid run support.
