Latos left Saturday's game against the Braves with a left shin contusion, Joe Frisaro of MLB.com reports. It seems Latos was able to avoid a serious injury after being hit by a line drive off the bat of Cameron Maybin, as the Marlins are saying he merely suffered a bruise and is day-to-day. That said, Latos won't be in the clear to make his next start until he completes his between-starts bullpen session.
