St. Louis Cardinals outfielder Lars Nootbaar (thumb) is set to swing a bat on Monday. The 25-year-old outfielder hasn't picked up a bat since jamming his left thumb on Opening Day. He was subsequently placed on the 10-day injured list on April 3.
