Santana (quadriceps) was placed on the 10-day injured list Friday, Chris Cotillo of The Springfield Republican reports.

Manager Alex Cora said earlier in the week that Santana might require a stint on the injured list, so it's not a major surprise to see the move before Friday's contest. The 30-year-old will be eligible to rejoin the active roster shortly after the All-Star break.
