Zimmer signed with the Reds for undisclosed terms Saturday, Charlie Goldsmith of The Cincinnati Enquirer reports.

It's not yet clear whether the deal is a major-league one. The 30-year-old righty owns a 5.19 ERA in 95.1 career major-league innings, walking 14.2 percent of opposing batters, so he's unlikely to find himself pitching in high-leverage innings.
