In addition to providing the go-ahead two-run homer in the fourth inning, Lagares showcased his typically sublime defense by recording seven putouts, a couple of which were of the highlight-reel variety. His defensive talents and capable contact skills make Lagares a quality real-life outfielder, but his limited pop and speed marginalize his value in the fantasy realm.
