Lagares is nursing a partially torn ligament in his thumb, but the hope is that he'll be able to play through the ailment and avoid a DL stint. The thumb is still too sore for Lagares to bat or play the field, however, so he'll be relegated to pinch running duties for both games of Tuesday's doubleheader against the Pirates.
