Lagares led off for the Mets on Sunday following his Saturday activation, but he'll take a seat Monday for the team's second consecutive afternoon contest. In his stead, manager Terry Collins will start an outfield composed of Brandon Nimmo (left), Yoenis Cespedes (center) and Curtis Granderson (right). Lagares wasn't necessarily an everyday player before landing on the DL, and with outfield options such as Nimmo and Kelly Johnson available, he will likely continue to see semi-regular playing time.
